Resolved: Outdoors Rv - Not Pissed Off... level critical thinking
I would like to see Pissed Comsumers website remove frivolous comments such as... 'I agree by anonymous'.
Its not a complaint, offers no information from which to make a determination. If the author doesn't care to put time in it why would the website care to facilitate non compliant communication.
Why is this allowed... no information whatsoever from 'Anonymous, I agree with you'
If Anonymous has NO motivation to articulate their experience, they don't have an experience and completely unreliable.
What credibility is there, Do Not give any credence to such weak interest from Anonymous.
Sorry to hear of the genuine complaint, it must be frustrating to have that experience.
My experience is with 2017 Timber Ridge 270RKS purchased Dec 2016. We did have the water pump breakdown 1st night but we were parked in a Big Sky Campground with water hookup so it was mute for us for the 3 month stay. We had a number of minor issues that were repaired at the dealer month 4. The key to warranty repair is being within range of a warranty dealer or an RV dealer that will work on it. If you are making repairs yourself it must be more convenient than using a dealer for repair.
I learned some things are taken up with the manuf. i.e. batteries. Screws do come loose so keep an eye on it. In my case it was tightening the stairs bolts. Our pantry shelving did loosen so we screwed them in secure. On the plus side.. and there is one for repairs... Outdoor RV overnighted an electrical part to a 'repair shop' where the dealer (not an ORV dealer) gave me 2 weeks out appointment.
The best response I've had from Dealers (not ORV) is Camping World and it was damage to the electric tongue jack, they got us in immediately, replaced and out. Same with otherCamping World locations in our experience.
Worst national dealer for us has been General RV, their position is 'we didn't sell it we don't service it'. But they will stick to you like glue following up to sell an RV to you. What are they thinking!!!
So net is, 1,000s if not tens of thousands of ORV trailers sold and you just don't see complaints but for the type that are 'over the top', sorry for your experience.
Bottom line is what really counts, keeping us warm and that is over the top too... 1st week in Big Sky, MT -31F... that is (minus) F degrees and we were cozy until '-20F something'... that's when the propane converts from gas to liquid. Prepared with a small warm tank kept the heat coming until Sun warmed the propane above -20s.
I'll trade the over the top heat performance in incredibly cold conditions for taking care of a few things myself or visiting an ORV dealer, Camping World or a shop that will work on the trailer.
If you want Winter Mountain Snow capable beyond expectations... ORV is a good choice, off-road too.
Kind Regards
Doug

I would like to see pissedconsumer remove obviously fake positive reviews. Why would you come to a site named pissedconsumer to berate a negative review?
Because you don't believe it to be true possibly
Typing in coherent sentences would help.
That's an odd report on the temperature performance. Mine produces frost lines everywhere the frame is located since there's no insulation and just a piece of aluminum between the inside and outside walls, and that freezes any water pipe nearby once the temperatures get around 0F.
Below that, forget it. For anywhere north, my experience is that Northwood, like many other RV's, is a 3-season trailer, not 4.
We have a 2016 Black Stone with a rear kitchen and two slides. We love the trailer.
We have not had any problems with the trailer.
The interior finishes are quite good. The trailer is comfortable, tows easily and looks great.
